How to Prepare for Your Upcoming Brandywine Valley HVAC Installation

To help keep everyone safe and ensure a smooth visit, we kindly ask that the conditions listed below are in place before your service appointment, sales visit, or installation. If our Team arrives and some conditions still need attention, they may check in with the Project Manager before continuing to ensure everything goes smoothly. Thank you so much for your cooperation. Access & Area Preparation

Ensure clear access to all HVAC equipment (indoor and outdoor units)

Remove any stored items, furniture, or debris blocking the system

Clear at least 3–5 feet of space around the equipment when possible

Ensure all work areas, walkways, and entry points are unobstructed
Pets & Animals

All pets and animals must be secured and kept away from the work area

Animals should not have access to or contact with our employees while they are working on equipment or moving throughout the property

This includes indoor and outdoor areas, garages, basements, attics, and yards

For safety reasons, service may be delayed or rescheduled if animals are not properly secured
Power & Utilities

Confirm the system has power turned on (unless we have advised otherwise)

Make sure electrical panels, breakers, and thermostats are accessible

Ensure gas shutoff valves and water connections are reachable if applicable
Thermostat & System Information

Set the thermostat to normal operating mode

Be ready to share:
- Any unusual noises, odors, or performance concerns
- When the issue first started
- Any recent repairs or system changes

Have the model and serial number available, if known (helpful, but not required)
Home Readiness

If any minors are present, they must be accompanied by an adult

Provide access to attics (Must have platforms in place.), basements, crawlspaces, or mechanical rooms if needed

Ensure parking access near the property for our service vehicle
Safety & Communication

Inform us of any special instructions or safety considerations

Let us know in advance about locked gates, alarm systems, or entry codes

Notify us if there are allergies or sensitivities we should be aware of
